I am a Gestalt psychotherapist in training (in the 4 years training) at the Gestalt Institute near Krakow. The Gestalt Institute is accredited by the EAGT (European Association for Gestalt Therapy) and the EAP (European Association for Psychotherapy). I systematically supervise my work and adhere to the EAGT code of ethics. I have a master's degree in human resources management, and in 2023 I also started studies in clinical psychology. I regularly expand my knowledge by participating in conferences and workshops (such as the specificity of work in psycho-oncology, resistance in therapy).
I conduct therapy for adults and adolescents in Gestalt modality. Gestalt therapy is a form of psychotherapy that applies a holistic approach to understanding and addressing an individual's experiences. It emphasises the interconnectedness of an individual's thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.
Gestalt therapeutic approach is shown to be effective in treating a wide range of issues such as anxiety, stress, addiction, tension and depression, whether as a long-term therapy or via a number of sessions. Gestalt offers a safe, supportive space to explore difficult feelings at times of personal difficulty and helps to understand the underlying patterns in personal relationships. and to begin making practical changes.
During therapy we can address difficulties such as:
* Anxiety, depression, lowered mood, feelings of emptiness, lack of goal and sense of life
* Complex post traumatic stress disorder, relational trauma
* Relationship problems (with partner or family)
* Emotional crisis
* Self-esteem issues
* Body image issues and eating disorders
* Work burnout
* Physical conditions that may have a psychological link, such as migraine
